April 5th
- We are going outside for the first 25 minutes of class. This gives students opportunities to redo or create another outdoor movement compilation.
- Next, you are to edit and create your compilations in photoshop. Make sure that you post 1 indoor and 1 outdoor compilation.
- Lastly, you are to create a GIF from the compilation photos of your indoor and outdoor. Make sure that you post 1 gif from your indoor and 1 gif from your outdoor compilation photos. You can google GIF creater from photos. Here's a couple that may work as well: https://imgflip.com/images-to-gif or http://gifmaker.me/

You are to find a composition that you would like to photograph. Obviously, you must have a subject of interest for your composition like we saw in the tutorials. When you have the composition that you like you are to take five photos. You are to keep a consistent focal length and distance from the subject of interest for all five photos. However, you are to manipulate the aperture setting on all five photos. You should start at the highest aperture setting (ex. f22) and work you way to the lowest (ex. f5.6). At the end of the period, you are to post all five photos onto your website. Please title the assignment: Depth of Field Experiment. Also, you are to label all five photos according to the aperture setting that you used for each photo. Have fun experimenting!

Directions: Pair up with one other person in class for this assignment. You are to create a plan on a word document together on what you will photograph, and how you will go about it. You will print out your plan (Rm286HPL....) and turn it into Mr. Dornan.
Please include:
- what you plan to photograph (i.e. food, food with drink, etc.) (no food in wrappers in your photographs)
- what props will be used to showcase the food (i.e. table cloth, tableware, flowers, decorations, etc.)
- what will your camera angles be for your shots ( what will your focus be? This dish as a whole, highlight aspects of the dish, etc.)
- A list of who is going to bring in what from your pair. (must be evenly split. One person is not in charge of everything)
March 1st: All photos are to be taken on Wednesday
March 3rd: Edit the three best photos and post on each of your websites.

Please edit your 5 best photos from the oxymoron assignment and post to your class assignments page. Please title your assignment: Oxymoron
Please choose your favorite photo that you have taken so far this semester and print it as a 5"x7". You will need to pair up with one other person so that you are sharing one sheet of photo paper while you print both of your 5"x7"'s. After you print please trim them on the paper cutter and display them on the matboard.

February 6- critique/oxymorons
1. Critique- I want you to look through the gaming photos that were taken from classmates on the other side of the class room. Pick out your favorite photograph. Then you are to write a critique explaining what it is that you like so much about that photo. Please include your name, the photographer's name, and the photograph with the written paragraph. Your critique must be a full paragraph (at minimum). The photographer will be receiving these when I finish grading them. You are to print the critique at the printer 286HPL... and then turn into me to be graded.
